ADVANCEMENT

All Scouts start out working toward their SCOUT BADGE. 
It doesn’t take long in our Troop for them to progress
through the lower ranks to FIRST CLASS.   In fact, almost every new Scout in Troop 205 earns his FIRST CLASS rank in less than a year!

Once a Troop 205 Scout attains FIRST CLASS he is guided  along the path through STAR and LIFE ranks to the rank of EAGLE.

This journey requires a lot of dedication and growth through the completion of merit badges, serving in leadership positions, and rendering service to the local community through projects and special activities.

Earning the rank of EAGLE SCOUT is a feat recognized world-wide.

Scouts & Scouters

​Troop 205 is Scout led, but it is always SCOUTER SUPERVISED!

Scouts learn best by doing, but they are still LEARNING!  So, Troop 205 always ensures that there is adult supervision of all boy led events and that all elements of the Souts BSA Safety and Youth Protection Programs are​ adhered to!

That takes a lot of adults!  We invite
you to join your Scout in this great adventure.  Not only does serving as an adult leader provide great adventures that you and your Scout will always remember, but you will have the chance to impact many other young lives, as well. Don’t worry, we’ll provide the training, too!
